ABOUT OUR CSA FARM SHARE

All of our produce is grown naturally with no GMOs, synthetic fertilizers, or synthetic pesticides. We strive to grow our food in a way that protects the health of our land, our workers, our animals, and our customers. Our produce is delivered in half bushel boxes and usually includes 8-10 varieties of seasonal produce. We also include a dozen eggs in your CSA share every other week.* As a full share holder you receive a box every week of our growing season. As a half share holder you will receive a box every other week. Our season tentatively begins the first week of May and continues through mid to late October. Please understand that CSA membership payment cannot be refunded, however we can transfer your share to another person if necessary. The money invested through Community Supported Agriculture goes into seeds, plants, water, and work. We cannot control the weather and are not responsible for acts of God. Farming is a risky business and we appreciate your willingness to partner with us and support our work.

 

*Additional eggs can be purchased at a reduced price for CSA members.

 

PICK UP/ DELIVERY

We currently have two pick up options:

-Monday, Seasons Market from 4:00-6:00pm  (2089 WIlma Rudolph Blvd)  **FULL**

-Wednesday, Farm Pick-up from 3:00-5:00pm    (5470 Sango Rd., Clarksville, TN 37043)

-Wednesday, Sango Pharmacy from 4:00-6:00pm (2622 Madison St Suite A)

Pick ups must be made on the same day each week and cannot be changed week to week. If you are having difficulty with your pick up day we may be able to arrange a change but we cannot allow for weekly variations due to planning and harvest schedules. If you are unable to pick up please let us know 24 hours in advance and we can arrange for your share to be picked up on the farm. If your share is not picked up by the end of the designated drop off hours and we have not heard from you, then your share will be donated. Please feel free to send a friend to pick up your share if you are unable to. We cannot offer credits or refunds for missed pick-ups.

NOTE:

  • Deliveries scheduled for Memorial Day and Labor Day  will be moved to Tuesday instead of the normal Monday delivery.
  • There will be NO CSA deliveries the week of August 14th in preparation for our Fine Fettle event.

 

BOX RETURN

Your share will be delivered in a reusable wax covered produce box. We ask that you return your box each time you pick up your next share. This allows us to cut down on waste and prevents ordering new boxes every month. 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Please fill out this form to reserve your share. We must receive a deposit within two weeks of registration to secure your spot. Shares are limited. More payment information will be sent to you upon registration completion. Payment can be made online through PayPal (sent to thefoodinitiative@gmail.com), or checks may be mailed to:
