Our topic on Tuesday, May 31st is titled “Roots & Shoots- What am I eating anyway?”
We’ll be talking about the anatomy of a plant, categories of plant types, and the difference between a fruit and a vegetable.
We believe that HEALTH is : What you eat, what you drink, what you do and what you think. That statements is true for us, the animals and the land. Our goal with Project: Think-Do-Eat is to connect kids to healthy food, physical activity, and good mental health by being outside, getting dirty, trying new things and learning about our food system.
This program is for kids ages 3-12 years old. It takes place on Tuesday mornings over the summer from 9:00am-10:30am.
